What we do

SANTAC Mozambique’s primary goals are the prevention  of child abuse and child trafficking throughout Mozambique, and the empowerment of children.

Discover our way of working

Santac works at the following levels to achieve our goals:

1. Development and consolidation of its network

The construction and consolidation of a regional movement to increase awareness and understanding on trafficking and abuse of children.

2. Strengthening institutional capacity
and knowledge on child trafficking

Trafficking of children concerns are incorporated into legislation, policies, plans and efforts of the major ministries of SADC government countries.

3. Increase awareness and advocacy

Establishment as a reliable source of information and the ability in the area of child trafficking in Mozambique and Southern Africa.

4. Direct actions at the community level

Developing a model of effective interventions for prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of boys and girls from the trafficking of children.

5. Research and information.

Establishment as a reliable source of information and the ability in the area of child trafficking in Mozambique / Southern Africa.
